The programmes are designed to enable Kingdom swimmers to compete at the top level of swimming whether that be at regional, national or international level.  As well as providing pool time, gym sessions are undertaken to improve flexibility, strength and stamina aspects for the athletes. The coaches shall endeavour to educate swimmers on the importance of applying themselves properly to achieve their goals that have been laid out for them. These will include the importance of attendance, attitude and application to training. A minimum attendance at galas and training will be set out by the coach of the Senior Squad once swimmers have been promoted to the Squad.

Movement Between Squads

Following the achievement of relevant times, the coaches will look at all other various factors such as standard of strokes, attendance record, gala participation, behaviour, age, maturity, ability to keep up with the demands of the intended Squad etc. At all times movement into a new Squad will be subject to space being available in that Squad and the swimmers meeting the above criteria to the satisfaction of their coach. These decisions are made by club coaches only.
